Holly crap, I came to some of your conclusions a matter of weeks ago. I posted them in the atheist tribe.
Zero to me implies that every thing comes from the same source, even thoughts. Its like when those two guys (I cant remember their names) discovered calculus concomitantly but on opposite sides of the globe. Weird. I think thoughts are universal, and that if every one had infinity to ponder everything, we’d all come to the same conclusion.
It’s kind of like Buddhist philosophy being validated by modern physics (especially the many worlds theories)
But this kind of thing happens to me all the time; ill think of something and someone else a little while later will think the same thing. It’s more than coincidences because the parallels between the ideas are toooo incredible.
The truth is universal.

Re: 0=universal truth
Wed, October 29, 2003 - 8:12 AM-----------I posted this in an atheist tribe a couple weeks ago…
if god is defined as alpha and omega, that which is, which will be and which is to come, then god simply is everything. Looking at it mathematically god is negative infinity plus infinity (and don ’t give me that bs about not being able to add infinities cause it ’s the same as adding x and negative x) which adds up to zero; Which is the source of all numbers. Existence in its entirety had to spring form nothing. Everything (minus infinity and infinity) synonymously is (equal to) nothing. All numbers arise (originate) from zero. In elementary mathematics zero is the origin. The origin is god (that which is responsible for creation). But that may not be your concept of god. I agree its meaningless (nothing).
If there was nothing before god then there is nothing but god. God, by my definition, is the only thing that existed at the absolute beginning. If there was nothing but god in the beginning then god only has itself in which to create everything.
But if you don ’t believe in my definition of the word god, then everything simply is everything. There is no deeper meaning. And you are exactly right; “God is just the laws of physics.” In my view, the laws of physics are synonymous with the law of god.

----caused a hell of a debate. Even got a few atheists to agree with me.

Re: 0=universal truth
Mon, June 14, 2004 - 5:13 AMit's pretty funny sometimes...like we are discovering that we are everything, but by finding one tiny place where another part of the everything connects with our little part of the everything and when they connect we get the holy shits!!!, but yeah i think it's true the whole/hole thing is hiding in the inside outness of zero...like the infinite center of finite sized jelly donut...mmmmmm, donut! the further you go in the bigger it gets. i think there might be some lensing effect that is causing it all to appear inside out, kind of like how our eyes see everything upside down and our brains correct it. i also think that maybe that is why the sun appears round....it may be somehow inverted in our perception...like we can't handle the concept that it is a hole of infinite size...so it becomes a ball of energy...maybe that's crazy talk...but it could be. all i know is i like zero more than ever
